The Rebellion Record: A Diary of American Events with Documents, Narratives, Illustrative Incidents, Poetry, etc. Was a twelve-volume set (eleven volumes and a supplement to the first volume) that created a history of the American Civil War while the war was still being fought. It was published during the Civil War and in the three years following. Volumes 4 and 6 have slightly torn covers. Pages are in good shape with the binding intact on 11 of the 12.

(See Images) Kept in a humidity controlled environment, shelved with little to no use for over 60 years and in storage before then. All original - no pages missing!

Came from the Ted Alexander Estate - Former Chief Historian at Antietam National Battlefield. A true national treasure that passed way too soon. 15% will be given to SHAF - Save Historic Antietam Foundation.
