This is a Good Copy of this Hardcover book in brown cloth boards with gilt title lettering to spine. There is one small scuff mark to the front endpaper where former ink name possibly was. Illustrated with 16 maps some of which are larger fold out maps.

Slight spotting to the endpapers and pre-lims. Some tenderness to the front hinge join with webbing showing through. The War Lasted 4 years and was between the Union (The North) and the Confederacy (The South), which was formed in 1861 by states that had seceded from the Union to preserve African American slavery, which they saw as threatened because of the election of Abraham Lincoln and the growing abolitionist movement in the North.
