The book was published in 1906 by the Neale Publishing Company. It is illustrated with portraits and offers a unique insight into the history of the Civil War.

The book also comes with the original receipt from purchasing the book (see photo). The book is in great shape given its age. The binding is intact and firm and pages are clean and free of tears.

The outside cover has signs of wear consistent with its age ; however , there are no tears. This book would be a wonderful addition to any collection of Civil War literature, especially for those interested in the Confederacy.
