This is the rare Semi-Centennial Memorial Edition, personalized and signed by Union veteran W. Powers, who served with the 4th Wisconsin Heavy Artillery. His handwritten inscriptions appear in several volumes, including battlefield maps with his service locations marked. Marked battlefield map in Volume V.
