For sale is a nice copy of full leather cover personal copy of antique pre Civil War American Polyglott BIBLE (in English) in EXCELLENT binding condition. The copy features full leather covers.

Full page copper plate engravings adore the copy in front of the title page for both The Old and the New Testament. It was printed in the year of 1842 by a Springfield MA publisher named G & C Merriam. The front page signature indicates the Bible first belonged to "Miss Agnes Drako". The Copy measures 4.5" by 3" for the cover size, roughly 2 thick. The bible is in EXCELLENT antique condition.

The front and back cover are both in good shape. The binding and leather cover is tight.

Both hinges where covers meet the spine are in excellent condition. There are some minor foxing, yellowing, staining in this copy, but relatively clean and untouched by water or dampness. Such an excellent preservation state is rare to find for Bibles of this age. Please check all photos for detailed condition.
