Civil War Regulations Manual Captain William Silvey 1st US Artillery Asst. Silvey was acting Provost Marshall General of The Department of The Northwest during The Cvil War.

This was his regulations manual from the war. When promoted to Brevet Major, he signed and dated the first free end page. His son, William Baird Silvey was aboard the Titanic on her maiden voyage. The manual is in solid condition with the usual wear and tear of a field manual.
