Illustrated with Numerous Descriptive Engravings... Hartford: Case, Lockwood & Company. Original leather binding worn, but solid. Spine leather is a little more dry and cracked than the covers. Some scattered foxing and staining throughout. The protruding edge you can see in the middle of the text block is not loose pages, it's the portrait pages that were bound in the middle instead of at the rear. Measures about 10.75" x 8.5" and a little under 4 thick.
