Published in New York by D. This early Confederate military history covers Pickett's Division, its brigades and battles, including Fredericksburg, Gettysburg, Five Forks and Sailor's Creek.

Includes an engraved portrait of Major General George E. Pickett, a Gettysburg monument illustration, an officer list and publisher advertisements. The book has been placed in a later custom binding with gilt spine lettering and decorative marbled endpapers.

The original pages show age toning, foxing, staining and scattered marks. Heavier staining is visible around the portrait, tissue guard and title-page area.

Several interior sections show looseness or separation at the gutter, with exposed sewing and small edge repairs or losses visible.
