This is the 1912, 50th Civil War Anniversary Edition, bound in 3/4 leather covers with leather spine and corners and with textured, black covers. The book has bright, impressed, gold lettering and decorative, lined highlights on the spine. The exterior is clean and the gold lettering is bright. The exterior has no bumping.
It has light rubbing and edge wear. The interior is clean and pages are in excellent condition. There isn't a mark in the book.
The book is free of any writing, foxing, stamps, pasteboards or other markings. It is not an ex-library book. The book has a large, full page, full-color, illustrtation of General Grant being saluted as a frontispiece.
