Civil War English Pattern 1853 /76 Bushed Bayonet + Scabbard & Frog Unit Marked

  

Civil War Era English Pattern 1853/76 Bushed Bayonet with Scabbard & Frog. This piece is a standard Model 1853 Bayonet which has been bushed to fit the Martini Henry Rifle. Bayonet blade measures 17-7/8", Socket length is 3-1/16" and the inside muzzle diameter is. Nice smooth finish with bright blade, showing some light wear, age patina spots.

The top of the socket is stamped with a number, "6117". The scabbard is in excellent condition with the front of the leather stamped Q. All metal pieces on the scabbard are tight and not loose.

Comes with a faded brown frog.
