Civil War Topographical Engineers Old English TE with Shield Coat Button

  

Great Union Civil War Topographical Engineer coat button. The front has a shield over Old English initials T E. The reverse has a small depressed, c. 1860, SCOVILL MF'G CO. This button measures 23 mm's in diameter.

It is a tough button to locate. The pictures are accurate as to its condition.
