Reminiscences of the Civil War by General John B. Published by Charles Scribner's Sons, New York, 1903. Three portraits, including frontispiece, of John B. Gordon at different ages, all with tissue-guards. Very good plus, first edition book, no dust jacket.

Dark navy cloth covered boards with gilt-stamped lettering and gilt United Confederate Veterans seal on the front panel, gilt lettering on spine. Side and lower edges are rough-trimmed and age-toned. Boards and spine are scuffed. Appears to be some damp-leaching along lower edge of front panel. Upper edge at head of board spine has horizontal crease; lower edge at tail has small bumps and rubs on the corners.

Fore-edge corner tips are rubbed but not frayed. Text is a slightly age-toned, otherwise very clean. Please use close-up options for best inspection and in support of condition descriptions.
