From "acceptable to good", with the majority in good condition, one notable exception being one volume has two printing errors affecting the readability of two pages that are folded in on themselves leaving them unlikely readable (shown). The first few pages of the General Index are rather wrinkled and creased.

Many have paint transfer (white) from shelving. Many text blocks have bumps and scuffs, resulting in chipped (small tears) and creased page edges and corners, as well as several text blocks with small stains, some of which extend a bit onto the page surfaces; in addition the text blocks have many contact marks, typically blue from being bumped with the other books. The majority of the bindings are rather tight and the majority of wear is from storage. Overall, they appear little used or read.
