32mo, about 3" x 4 1/2" x 1. These were made in the hundreds of thousands by the American Bible Society, to be distributed to both Union and Confederate soldiers. Many soldiers would write their name, rank, unit, date, hometown, place where they got their NT, etc. This copy has no writing whatsoever. The patriotic presentation label from the NY Bible Society is blank as well.
Note that July 1861 is only 3 months after the attack on Fort Sumter on April 12th. I presume that would make this an early issue. I've done my best to accurately and honestly describe and photograph this item.
