Large 8vo, bound in publishers blindtooled brown roan leather, spine gilt with five raised bands, all edges gilt. Easuring approx 17cm by 24cm. The contents are complete, meeting collation; 502pp; 702pp with all 28 steel engraved plates as called for.

Condition: The binding is holding firmly though much worn and scuffed, spine snagged at head, torn down hinges at top compartment and pulling away there, short crack at foot of lower hinge. Contents are firmly bound and in good clean condition, lightly toned with some scattered minor spots, smudges and marks, fingermarks more pronounced through initial few quires.
