Compendium of the War of Rebellion 3 Vol. HB Slipcase Frederick Dyer

A Compendium of the War of the Rebellion. 3 volumes in the original slipcase/box.

This 1959 edition is a reprint of Dyer's important 1908 work, with a new introduction by Civil War historian Bell Irvin Wiley. Number and organization of the Union armies. Chronological record of campaigns, battles, engagements, skirmishes, etc.

This is a very desirable Civil War reference set, particularly because you have all three volumes together in the matching case. The 1959 Yoseloff edition is specifically described by collectors as an important reprinting of the original 1908 edition. Please see ALL PHOTOS as they show the condition of the books and slipcase.
