1859 Holy Bible printed in Philadelphia by E. Includes the Old Testament, New Testament, and Apocrypha. This edition has color engravings scattered throughout. This was a nice edition to have had color illustrations before the Civil War. Re-backed using original leather boards and a new leather spine. Edges of original leather boards dry and worn. Family newspaper clippings inside front cover. Family history pages have been filled out as well. Last pages loosening with tattered edges.

Overall solid and a very nice size type for reading. Measures about 11.5" x 9.5" and about 4 thick.
