[1898] Personal Recollections of Abraham Lincoln & the Civil War 1st - Gilmore. First Edition First Printing 1898 - James R. Complete, however with the following condition issues.

Cover shows scuffing, corner wear/softening, some fading / staining, and a bit of rippling on back. Gold gilt on top page edge, remains nice but shows some wear.

Other rough cut page edges in good shape, with some tanning/staining, chips/dings. Pages are nice and supple. Gold gilt title on spine remains nice, but shows a bit of wear.

Text area over all clean, with minor edge tanning, and light minimal staining (only a handful of pages affected within text area, and only small spots) [See Last Image for Example]. Otherwise in nice clean vintage condition - 125 years old. Very nice tight binding and spine. No missing, loose or torn pages.

No writing (less a small pencil scribble on the front blank glue down inside cover, see last image). Green Cloth Covered Boards (covers). Gold Gilt Title Decoration on Spine, other three are Deckled (rough cut). Frontispiece, and Seven Additional Plates (illustrations) all Intact, Super Clean and Bright.

All Tissue Guards Protecting Plates are Fully Intact. An overall beautiful example of this scarce book, and piece of American history. Will be packaged with care.
