FROM BULL RUN TO CHANCELLORSVILLE , Newton Martin Curtis. Putnam's Sons, New York, 1906.

INSCRIBED by Curtis to a solider who served under him during the war. Curtis was awarded the Medal of Honor for his gallantry shown in combat, and later became a politician.

With respect to signed material offered for sale, I guarantee that all signatures are 100% authentic. If a signature is questionable, I do not list it.. I offer both signed and inscribed material, and although "flat signed" material is often preferable from a collectability standpoint, with the flood of fake signatures in the marketplace today, an inscribed copy can actually lend more legitimacy to the signature. Certificate of Authenticity provided upon request. Condition: Book is Very Good.

As New : book is in the same immaculate condition in which it was published. There can be no defects, no missing pages, no library stamps, etc. And the dust jacket (if it was issued with one) must be perfect, without any tears. Fine : book approaches the condition of As New, but without being crisp. And if the jacket has a small tear, or other defect, or looks worn, this should be noted. Very Good : book shows some small signs of wear on either binding or paper. Good : book that has average wear and tear with all pages or leaves present. Fair : book is worn with complete text pages (including those with maps or plates) but may lack end papers, half-title, etc. Binding, jacket (if any), etc. Poor : book is sufficiently worn that its only merit is as a Reading Copy because it does have the complete text, which must be legible. Any missing maps or plates should still be noted. This copy may be soiled, scuffed, stained or spotted and may have loose joints, hinges, pages, etc. Ex-library : book that is retired from a library. Must always be designated as such no matter what the condition of the book.

I will respond to all inquiries.
