Rare 1892 hardcover copy of "The History of the Fifth Regiment of Rhode Island Heavy Artillery; during Three Years and Half of Service in North Carolina, January 1862-June 1865" compiled under the supervision of John K. See photos for example of contents and for condition. In good condition with some wear. Boards with rubbing, fading, general surface wear.

Top and bottom edges of spine bumped, frayed and worn. Title page about half disconnected / torn, and thus off balance and loose feeling when opened to it - see photos. Interior with some age spotted/foxed pages; portion of pages with varying degrees of smudge/age stains, nothing severe (see photos for examples) - this mostly affects the pages surrounding a fold-out, or beginning/ending pages, etc. Occasional map or illustration with minor spotting on it, or surrounding it.
