Nashville, this Subscriber' Edition features half-bound leather on cloth boards with embossed and gilt stamped design and lettering on the front cover, fore edge marbled, marbled endpapers, a frontispiece with tissue guard, engraved plates with tissue guard; and contains "a series of essays that provide anecdotes and narratives of the Confederate army of Tennessee" during the US Civil War. Poor condition (see photos and full description). Bright illustrations and clear text; spine missing, front cover, flyleaves, frontispiece, and title page separated with closed tears along the edges but binding and back cover intact; clean interior; toning, scattered foxing, and stains due to age; significant edge and spine wear with spine missing; covers heavily soiled, scuffed, and faded with deterioration; corners bumped and peeling.
