Wanting to do more, they grew their organization, holding fundraisers in an effort to improve the appearance of the graveyard, hold Annual Memorial Services, and, ultimately, convert Confederate President Davis' home into Memorial Hall. It was decided that each state in the Confederacy, as well as Richmond, should have its dedicated room to showcase their coat-of-arms, records, relics, and so on. This book offers information about each state's secession from the Union, it's contribution to their cause, and illustrated examples of what one might find exhibited at Memorial Hall.
