Antique, hardcover mid 19th century book, published the same year the Civil War ended after the assassination of President Lincoln. Book is in overall very good to fine condition.

Outer upper and lower edges of the spine have rubbing and the outer corner edges of the boards also have some rubbing. Exterior is clean with very little age or shelf wear showing. Interior of the book is clean with former owners bookplates on the front endpapers and brief pencil notation and with some minor and occasional toning. Book's binding is tight and well intact and the book is complete with all pages present and none coming loose, detached or missing. Book totals 808 pages followed by publisher's catalog, measures approximately 9 1/2 x 6 1/2 x 2 1/4 inches and weighs just over 3 pounds.
