The Ladies Repository: A Monthly Periodical Devoted to Literature and Religion. Power, Cincinnati, 1849, frontispiece with many full-page engravings, 380 pp, half leather with black floral embossed publishers cloth, 10.5 x 7, In as-is condition. Light wear to extremities with scuffing to corners and joints. Light soiling to surface of cloth. Gilt tooling bright and clean.

Old hand ownership on the endpapers. Profusely illustrated with charmingly detailed engraved plates.

Each illustration was bound with a tissue guard. Interior with scattered heavy foxing, age staining, most apparent on the illustrations. An illustration titled " Steps to Ruin - The Last" is torn.
